Science

Science

At St Bede’s Catholic Primary School, we understand that science is all around us and that children by nature are curious about the world that they live in and how it works. We aim to foster this curiosity and develop their understanding of the world through the teaching of a science curriculum that focus on both substantive (scientific concepts) and disciplinary (working scientifically) knowledge, which is progressively built on as the children move up through school. We aim to offer fun and practical sessions that build on their ‘Science Capital’ to ensure a life-long love of science.

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” - Albert Einstein
