Early Years
We believe that the early years of a child’s education are the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them. We aim to foster a love of learning through a balanced curriculum that blends purposeful play with adult-led learning. Every child is recognized as a unique individual. We celebrate their unique strengths, interests, and cultural backgrounds to help them build confidence, resilience, and independence.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed around the seven core areas of learning and development specified in the EYFS Statutory Framework:
- Communication and Language: Developing rich vocabulary, listening skills, and spoken language.
- Physical Development: Improving gross and fine motor skills through active play and coordination tasks.
- Personal, Social, and Emotional Development: Building self-regulation, positive relationships, and emotional well-being.
- Literacy: Linking sounds and letters through phonics, alongside a deep love for stories and reading.
- Mathematics: Developing a strong grounding in number, shape, space, and spatial reasoning.
- Understanding the World: Guiding children to make sense of their physical world and community.
- Expressive Arts and Design: Nurturing creativity through art, music, role-play, and imagination.
Learning Through Play & Exploration
Children learn best when they are actively engaged. We offer vibrant indoor and outdoor learning environments where children can take risks, solve problems and collaborate with peers. Our dedicated staff observe, support, and extend learning during play, capturing key milestones to ensure every child makes excellent progress.
