Commentary:

  • Children join the school in the Nursery with skills and abilities that are similar to those expected for their age.
  • EYFS is well led and managed which has led to an upward trend that demonstrates good progress over this Key Stage.
  • Good Level of Development has risen considerably over the last 4 years. This is due to targeted interventions, closely focused teaching activities, raised expectations, CPD opportunities and an awareness for ‘school readiness’.
