Welcome to our website. Our site has been updated to include many of the exciting things that have been happening over the past year. It is a brief introduction to our school and gives people accessing our site a flavour of our school.

 St. Bede’s is a Catholic school in the West End of Bedlington, a former mining town in the south east of Northumberland. Our Catholic faith is an important part of what we stand for and the way we treat everyone connected with our school is influenced by this faith. Our beliefs and our values are based on Gospel principles of tolerance, forgiveness, patience and understanding. We have to give priority to Catholic children and families but we are not exclusive. We welcome families of all faiths to our school and they participate fully in the life of the community.

 Our Mission Statement states that we aim to “develop a Christ centred community where relationships are all important” Every child has always mattered at our school and they are at the heart of everything we do.
